Timing & download details
The song windows follow the measured level-change cues in this recording. Every-level mode uses 14 songs. Every-two-levels mode uses seven songs, continuing the same track across each pair without restarting it. Switching modes retains your uploads in this tab; paired mode uses the uploads for Levels 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13. Level 1 begins on the spoken “Start” at 0:39.6. Levels 2–14 begin at the tones marking the end of the previous level, followed by its announcement. The recording stops during Level 14 after lap 138; it contains 13 complete levels and part of Level 14. The PACER recording is never sped up or slowed down. The supplied 20-meter no-music recording is built in and loads automatically for every mix.
Download and save: stereo MP3, 192 kbps, 44,100 Hz, about 22 MB. The entire supplied recording is included. MP3 encoding is lossy and may add a small amount of encoder padding; the voice, beeps, and music stay aligned. Songs play at their original speed. A short song loops by default; turn looping off to leave the rest of its spot voice-only. Each song’s volume slider adjusts that track independently; Master music adjusts all tracks together. Adjacent songs overlap for up to one second at each transition. The next song starts at its scheduled time while the previous song fades out. Keep voice & beeps prominent lowers music during PACER audio, with smooth recovery afterward. The reduction slider controls how much: 0% keeps music unchanged, 80% leaves it at one-fifth of its chosen volume, and 100% silences music during announcements and beeps. An automatic limiter catches loud combined peaks with 5 ms of lookahead and smooth recovery. It protects playback and downloads and preserves the exported test timing and length.
